Joan Sancho - violin

Higher degree of violin and chamber music at the Superior Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona and postgraduate at the Conservatory of the Liceu of Barcelona. Master's degree in music specialties from the University of Lleida. He has been a member of the Young National Orchestra of Catalonia and has collaborated with several orchestral chamber orchestras and symphonic orchestras in the country. He has been a member of the Julià Carbonell Symphony Orchestra of Les Terres de Lleida since it was created. Founding member of the Chamber Orchestra of La Noguera and the Prysma Quartet. He is a professor of violin at the Professional and Municipal Music Conservatory of Lleida.

 

 

Maria Mora - dance

Dancer and teacher After finishing the middle course at the Music Conservatory of Lleida, he began his dance studies in 2006 in the city of Tarragona with the Artemis Dance program. In 2007 he traveled to Brussels and studied the Axis Syllabus movement method for 6 years, forming Baris Mihci and Frey Faust; is a certified teacher. At the same time, he forms contemporary dance at Jette Studio, Hybrid Studio and Raffinerie in Brussels.

Immersed in the Improvisation Contact for 7 years. He works contemporary improvisation with the Collectif En Transit in Brussels and in Lleida with the Entrebancs group. Founding member of the Moving Association of Contact Improvisation of Lleida. Teach Axis Syllabus in Lleida and Celrà.

 

Montse Piqué - voice

Since I remember it, I like music. As a child I sang in a choir and studied cello. In addition I studied singing at the Professional Music Conservatory of Lleida and the Master's Degree in Music Education from the University of Lleida. My concerns prompted me to continue training me, in this case, doing a Master's Degree in Music Therapy at the CIM in Bilbao and working with different groups such as children and young people with Down Syndrome or women with breast cancer. Paralelamente, he has been involved in various theatrical projects, both amateur and professional, and fond of dance. For years I've been a music teacher at a Lleida school and I am currently fully involved in the knowledge of Soundpainting and improvisation.

 

Rafel Esteve - double bass

Born in Alcoy (Alicante). He is a double bass teacher at the Conservatory and Municipal Music School of Lleida and the Municipal School of Music of Sant Boi de Llobregat. He is an active member of the Catalan Chamber Orchestra and the Julià Carbonell Orchestra of the Terres de Lleida. He has collaborated on numerous occasions with the Barcelona Symphony Orchestra and the Gran Teatre del Liceu Orchestra.

Laia Roset - dance

I like to dance. I started working in the world of dance, at school, where I regularly went to classical and jazz dance classes. At the university, while studying Environmental Sciences, I discovered contemporary dance, and I was part of the UAB dance group, where we experimented with dance theater and video-dance. Since then, I have received regular classes and workshops by several teachers where I have worked on the techniques release, cunningham, lemon, flyinglow ... and I am currently enjoying the dance contact improvisation by the hand of the group Move it from Lleida.

Miquel Ángel Marin - clarinet

Musician of academic training: Municipal Conservatory of Barcelona (Juli Panyella) and Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe, Germany (Wolfgang Meyer), giving concerts throughout Europe (Germany, France, Portugal, Italy, Iceland ...), Korea and Israel. As a soloist and chamber musician, he has performed with orchestras and quartets: Polnische Kammerphilarmonie, Chamber Orchestra of the Conservatory of Moscow, Leos Janacek Ostrava (Torroella de Montgrí Festival), Brno (Palau de la Música de València), Sori Orchestral Ensemble (Seoul Arts Center, Korea); the Moyzes quartets, Venus-Kapralova and Dafna (quartet of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Israel). From the year 2001 shows in public own musical creations: improvisation, musical action, poetry, performance, prepared clarinet, video. Since 2005, he has coordinated the experimental dance festival 'Bouesia', in the Delta del Ebro. He emphasized his collaborations with Carles Hac Mor, Ester Xargay and Llorenç Barber, in various poetic and musical projects. He has published the books "The clarinet is the hoe" (Café Central / Emboscall) and "Música es atrapa mosques" (Arola).

Maria Berengué - violin

Graduated in violin pedagogy with Raquel Castro at ESMUC and graduated in music education teacher at the University of Lleida. She broadens her violinist training with the Master's in Advanced Studies in Violin Interpretation at ESMUC. He has received violin and chamber music lessons from H. Satue, O. Solovieva, Y. Gotlivobich and members of the Quartet Casals. He collaborates habitually in different instrumental formations such as the Eclectic Color Orchestra or the Sant Cugat Symphonic Orchestra. Currently, he is a teacher of violin, orchestra and choral singing at the Orfeó Lleidatà.

Miquel Salla - electronics

DJ and producer of electronic music. A mix of computer science studies and a basic musical training, to get a musical producer out of the digital revolution. He has worked as a sound technician, at the Test Bucks (Lleida), IMAC (Lleida), Schokoladen Haus (Berlin). His works can be found on labels such as regular label-2010 (Miracle Management-Barcelona), instabil-2014 (statik entertaiment-Liepzig), ipologica recordings-2008 (Rome), Mindfield recordings-2012 (Berlin), Madberlin records-2012 ( Berlin), Make Mistakes-2015 (Baltimore-USA)

Jordina Millà - piano

Born in Balaguer, he trained as a pianist at CODARTS Univerity of Arts in Rotterdam, where he studied undergraduate and master's degree in piano performance. During the training period he receives support from the Ministry of Science and Culture of the Netherlands with the "Huygens Program" grant, Study with Aquilles Delle Vigne, Jean Bernard Pommier, Igor Blagodatov, and Patrick Zygmanowski. Later he moved to Paris where he studied chamber music at the Ecole Normale in Paris with pianist Nina Patarcec. He has offered several recitals in different cities in the Netherlands, forming part of chamber groups or as a soloist. He has collaborated with the Young Rotterdam's Philharmonic Orchestra, with the Chamber Orchestra of La Noguera and in contemporary music projects. Currently, his interest is attracted by improvisation and multidisciplinary collaboration, he is a member of Trio Stalzim, of the company Move projects and collaborates with the company Les Mus Teatre.

Oriol Planes, Ritxi - actor

He works in theater companies in Lleida, mainly related to the children's world, entertainment and the street: Xip Xap, Festuc, El Sidral, among others. He participates in his shows as an actor, puppeteer, musical accompaniment, or, if appropriate, a lighting technician; and where he also collaborates in the process of creation. In 2015, he joins the Col·lectiu Free't, experiencing free improvisation.

Montserrat Trepat - actress

Teacher and journalist. Degree in Geography and History. Screenwriter - presenter of the founding team of the radio station Catalunya Música. Cultural journalist in different media in Barcelona such as Catalunya Ràdio or TV3. Elementary music studies at the Lleida Conservatory and theatrical training at the Aula Municipal. Ex-member of the heart Veus.kat. Currently working as high school teacher in public education.

 

 

Maria Monseny - stage designer

Born and growing in the field of scenic design between Catalonia, Britain, England and Switzerland. This tour takes you to understand the scenography as the aesthetic communication channel between those who create and who wants to receive or co-create a scenic project. He works in this direction from the multi sensory perception, territorial responsibility and the contemporary popular imaginary. He currently works as a stage designer, including costume and space, for different shows, including opera and a large-scale street show.

Núria Andorrà - percussion

 

Percussionist and improviser of contemporary music. He earned a bachelor's degree in percussion at the Higher School of Music of Catalonia (ESMUC), and later studied at the Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Karlsruhe (Germany) where he obtained the DKA diploma and the Master's Degree in Contemporary Music. He collaborates with the contemporary music groups Icarus Ensemble, Algoritmo, Ensemble Abstraï, Murtra Ensemble, Barcelona 216 and Kammart. He has also worked with Carles Santos, MATMOS and Ensemble NÜ. He has improvised with Lê ​​Quan Ninh, Agustí Fernández, Ingar Zach, Mats Gustafsson, Pablo Ledesma, Nate Wolley, Frances-Marie Uitti, Joe Morris, Nenad Markovic, Tom Chant, Johannes Nästesjö and Ivi Raus, among others.

Genís Bagés - battery

 

He began his musical studies at the Municipal Music School of Flix, at the age of eighteen he moved to Barcelona to study at the Taller de Músics. With twenty-one years he joined the ESMUC, specializing in jazz and modern music, where he had the opportunity to exchange with the Vienna Conservatory. He also maintained an intense musical activity, sharing a stage with musicians like Marco Mezquida, David Mengual, Marcel·lí Bayer, Marcel Bagés, Xavi Torres ... Later he moved to Berlin where he lived for two years as part of the musical scene of the city. He currently resides in Lleida where he develops several projects and teaches at the Escola d'Música de l'Orfeó Lleidatà.

Alba Vicario - dance

 

My scientific career has followed a very original trajectory. I studied Chemical Sciences, learning to think with rigor and objectivity. Even so, I have always been interested in human behavior, so when I came across the world of neuroscience, I started looking for a place for me. I defended my doctoral thesis in July 2015 in the field of Development and Evolution of the Brain (EVO-DEVO). The next step in my career is to work under the paradigm of corporalized cognition, which unites my two great passions: neuroscience and the body in motion. I am currently teaching aerobatic acrobatics in various environments, and I study various areas of the movement, which include body expression and dance.
